hysterectomy-catheter taken out and can't pee?

i had a hysterectomy 2 days ago.had the catheder takin out the next day.i can't pee at all today.what should i do?

I had the same problem I fortunately was still at hospital, they had to put catheter back in till next day, they said it's because your body's getting use to the sensation again and for others it may take longer. If your at home, cause I asked at hospital, what would I have done not being so fortunate still being here, either with squirt bottle run warm water down there while sitting on toilet or get in warm shower to create relax warm sensations.
