I had a partial hysterectomy 5 months ago (womb and cervix but ovaries left)I suffer from bloating to my stomach which is very painful. I wake up with a nice flat stomach but within 2 hours it begins to bloat, by the end of the day its very painful. It doesnt seem to matter what I eat or drink it still bloats out. The outer section of my stomach area is still numb but inside just below my belly button is very painful and hard to touch. The bloating is definitely my bowel and although still regular I am finding it harder to go to the toilet. Should i go and see my GP, my fear is I will be told "it should settle down" but what can I do to help it and is this normal?
Thanks Emma Smile

Bloating after hysterectomy
I think your problems are normal but it can't hurt to see your doctor. Afer my surgery, I had similar problems with bloating. I eventually had to start taking fiber supplements. I still take them now.
