Q: Hypoglycemic and fatigued adrenals

Hi everyone I'm new here. I'm 27, female. I have severe hypoglycemia. I have it due to fatigued adrenals. I have had Candida for awhile and had Lyme disease before that. I have the Yeast overgrowth because of all the antibiotics for Lyme. My doctor (a homeopath) said it sounded like I had hypoglycemia a few months ago and I didn't really listen to him. Now since my symptoms are full fledged I realize how serious it really is. I have Candida and haven't managed to get it under control yet.

I have horrible symptoms like constant extreme hunger, feeling of hotness, thirst, fatigue, crazy dreams and then when I crash, I get really tired, have a bad headache, dizzy, anxiety, can't get out of bed, impatient, and really just feel like I'm dying.

I've read lots of information online and many sites seem to contradict eachother. High protein, low carb, high carb, complex carb, eat often, don't eat often......

I feel like I'm going to die if I don't do something...

someone on my Yeast Syndrome message board suggested Isocorts to me. I am taking the Jarrow Adrenal formula.

I actually feel better in the morning when I wake up and haven't eaten in hours. I feel worse after having eaten. And it doesn't matter what I eat, it all seems the same...although of course something high carb or sugary makes it worse.

Any help or input would be great! Thank You.

I would also like to add that I just started having a little bit of eye pain, and the feeling like something is in my eye, it's gritty or blurry a little bit. Should I be worried? I don't see my doctor until 5 days from now.

Eye pain is a common symptom, nothing to worry about unless you suspect something more serious. Read through my diet on this forum.

I did, and I already started it (the purge) and I actually feel A LOT better already! I mean, it's a tough diet, but I am feeling better already.

May I ask, why are nut butters bad on the diet? Because of the Candida, which is basically a digestive disorder (or starts out as one) I have great difficulty digesting nuts of all kinds, and seeds too. They come out pretty much whole. I thought maybe in a butter form, they'd be easier to digest. Just almond butter is the only one I'd eat anyway.

Sigh, WRONG DIET. DON'T DO THAT ONE. Look for one on this first page called Hypoglycemia Rules and Diet.

I've been doing the wrong one? Well, now I'm kind of scared to try the other one, because carbs were/are making me crash up until about 5 days ago. And for the anti-yeast diet, I'm allowed rice, buckwheat, quinoa, but no wheat of any kind.

I feel really tired today and had a bunch of crazy crazy dreams, about Cadbury eggs and Caramellos.

Thank You for your help, really. I'm just so lost, and I don't want to trust just any old information I get off the internet.

I'm not even sure how you found it, unless you printed it out from a few years ago. I deleted all the information so people wouldn't get confused. You must have started it awhile ago then. Try what your doctor says, but as you see, I mention only SPROUTED grains, which are quite different. Yes, wheat is involved, but it's processed differently by the body because of sprouting.
