Q: Hypoglycemia test results ?
asked by: WildStrawberry on April 29th, 2009

I received my test results today, it's 6 pages long. *ouff!*
My endocrinologist isn't sure what's going on with me, because I also had problems with my periods.
But I did drink the orange drink and had other blood tests.
As for hypoglycemia, what should I look for and what does the numbers means?

Thanks

Forgot to say, I will meet him but only in 3 weeks, maybe more. And I'm impatient to know what's going on with me and wanna try to read the results on my own.

Yes, no problem, but it's 6 pages long and my scanner doesn't work.
Can you tell me which info I should look for and I will type it here.
Thank you

What tests did they give you? Do you have an elevated white cell count? Elevated liver enzymes? Did you have a GTT? If so, what were your sugar readings? Fasting sugar? A1C?

Tired???
I have hypothyroid and my test results came back at 407! The norm here in canada is a reading of 40. (but this is the canadian metric system) I gained 30lbs in two years, was never overweight and pretty much slept for the whole two years. I had psorisis and lots of other symptoms. What are yours?

Also, what came with it was attacks of hypoglycemic! lots of them. The synthroid is helping with that. Never had it in my life. It affects your sugars, thyroid does!
