Any problems with this for hypo? I know I made a smoothie out of the powder the day I had my really bad attack and I thought I was going to pass out. I think I read that it can lower your BS, Im not sure. What you you all think?
Answered my own question. I tried it again today to make sure. I saw several posts from others that are hypo and the Hemp seed worked well for them for BS stablility. Obviously it doesnt work with my body. Again I felt like I waS going to pass out. SO I wouldnt advise it.
Protein powder in general is probably the problem. It's a LOT of protein at once and stresses the liver, which can cause your sugar to drop. Best just eating eggs and enough meat throughout the day. Stay away from quick fixes like this.
