In summer of 2004, I had to go to the emergency room. I was really feeling sick with all sorts of problems. I had felt those symptoms many times before but, this time was really bad, worse than before.
The doctors ran tests on me and said, hypoglycemia. I was told it was probably a one time occurance and to forget about it. The symptoms stil pressisted on though. I went back to the emergency room again. This time they told me it was probably some sort of Diabetes I had been suffering from. Later, that month, I went to the VA Hospital Doctors whom were my regular doctors. They tested me and said, I had nothing wrong with me and go home and eat whatever I liked. So, I did just that for the next couple of years. I found myself last year back in the emergency room again this time they ran a bunch of blood, urine, and stool test as well as an A1C test. There was a team of doctors this time and they all agreed it was Diabetes again. It turned out that the VA Hospital Doctors did not want me to discovery these facts for fear that they would have to give me Service Connection Pension. They caused me to have my current sickness over something as simple as money. I now weigh 123 lbs at 5 feet, 11 inches tall with BMI of 18 only. I lost 77 lbs in the space of 2 months and I have no muscle tone or even a body. All fat has disappeared from my body good fat and the bad fat both. I a litterly skin and bones at this point. Has anyone here ever been told they have hypoglycemia and then told it was really Diabetes? How any of you lost allot of weight sudden un-intentionally?
