Hypoglycemia Answer A5090
Diagnosis that has been suggested: hypoglicemia, and another doctor said insulin resistance
Current medical status: really hungry in two hours after eating something, fatigue, can't lose weight
Current medical treatment: using 25 mg of Glucobay(Bayer)3 times a day

Hypoglycemia is defined as a blood glucose concentration lower than 3,3 mmol/L (or 60 mg/dL). In your case, values of glucose levels are above 60 mg/dL so you couldn’t have hypoglycemia.

A fasting serum insulin level of greater than the upper limit of normal for the test used in certain laboratories is considered evidence of insulin resistance. Each laboratory has its own referent (min/max) values so I can’t give you any comment about your laboratory results.
