Is it my age (nearly 40) - I dunno, I've been like this for a long time. Or just my hypercondria?

In the past year, I've had the following ailments:
Vertigo.
Anxiety.
Heartburn.
Palpatations.
Muscle pain.
Migraine.
Back pain.
Insomnia.
Blood/pain in passing stools.
Toothache.
Allergy.
Painful periods. Plus the usual round of colds and the odd virus.

Does anyone else feel like they're always ill?

How do they stop themselves becoming obsessed with illness, and hypercondria?
