Hypothyroidism vs hyperthyroidism
Posted: 05-10-08 16:03pm

I have had quite a few thyroid tests over the years and they are always either very low "normal" or slightly below the "normal" range. I had a few questions regarding this, which I think most people would benefit from.

If your always low "normal" in the TSH, Free T3 and Free T4, what does that usually suggest? Hypo, Hyper or pituitary problem?

Can you be hyperthyroid with low scores or do they need to be high in the range?

I can eat absolutely everything under the sun, yet I don't gain weight. Isn't this usually an indicator of hyperthyroid?

Thanks for all your help!
