I am 19 years old and for over 2 years i
have been suffering from extreme anxiety
depression. However only untill recently i
have been experiance frightening symptoms
that i need help with. About 2 months ago
i would get a mild choking feeling, but
usually was gone withing a few hours. Now,
i feel as if its all the time, its very
very mild. It feelslike my throught has
something stuck in it or pressure. I have
no trouble breathing or sleeping. The skin
on the lower part of my throught feels
very tender and smooth. Pretty much were
the collar of my shirt goes. My ears also
feel like they want to pop or will pop. No
sound loss however. I have been smoking
about half a pack a day for the past 3
years. I don't drink or do any other
drugs, nor have i ever.
Now that i have the recent symptoms
explained i would like to explain my
history. For about 2 years i have had a
unctrollable shaking in both of my hands,
wich only shake for a second or less once
lifted. It doesnt do it when im not moving
or walking, it almost seems like the same
type of shaking you get when really
excited. My heart also always pounding,
moving my whole body along with it.
Sometime at night lying on the bed i can
feel the bed moving. I have also been
experiancing "brain fog" . Wich doesnt
seem to effect my memory. My feet and
fingers also get cold at times. I also go
into blank stares. After a few months of
dealing with this i went to my docotor
(This was over 1 year ago) and explained
everything. I was put on Lexapro for
depression and that did nothing, except
keep me up at night... but any Lexapro
user can tell u the same. I went back in
and had a MRI of the brain, chest x-ray,
blood test, urine test and a full eye
exame. Everything came back normal.
Sence then i have lost about 20 pounds. 2
years ago i was 5'10 and 165lbs now im
145lbs. Im what u would call a
hypochondriac as well, i have been sitting
around for 2+ years now with these
symptoms and havent worked a job or even
kept a social life.
At this point i am very lost on how these
physical symptoms can still occur when all
these test come back normal to a
hypochondriac like me. I came accross a
condition called "hyperthyroidism" a few
nights ago and read up alot about it. I
was stunned to see the symptoms of this,
almost seems they made this up after
myself haha. I'm sure i shouldnt be here
explaining myself with these symptoms but
instead at the doctors. Being that im now
almost 20 and unemployed i do not have
medical insurance nor can afford it. I
would like for anyone who has experiance
or suggestions on my problem to please
respond. I'm at the edge of my seat and am
getting mental depressed more and more
everyday.
