I recently had blood tests done for PTH intact and calcium. The results were:
PHT INTACT out of range. Reference range 10-6 pg/ml. My results: 84 H

Interpretive Guide
Intact PTH in Relation to Calcium
Normal parathyroid - normal Calcium - normal
Hyperparathyroidism
Primary Intact - normal or high Calcium - high
Secondary - High Calcium - normal or low
Tertiary - high Calcium - high
non-parathyroid hypercalcemia - Low or low normal Calcium - high

Calcium 9.3 Reference Range 8.6 - 10.2 mg/dL

My question is this, am I at risk for having hyperparathyroidism? If so, should I have surgery if there is a tumor on a gland? On reviewing symptoms, I find myself falling under all but one.
