Q: hyperextension of both knees

for as long as i can remember i have always had hyperextension of both knees (i am now 23). but have noticed over years it has gotten worse to roughly about a 15 degree hyperextension. my left knee is slighty worse then the right and is always swollen and hurts. they both contently give out. i was curious if there is a way to help reduce the pain or help correct the hyperextension. thank you
