I think you are being a little too impatient. If your baby is a year old that means that you have been trying to conceive for a year or less. Most doctors don't consider a couple infertile unless they have been trying unsuccessfully for at least eighteen months.
Also, if you were on hormonal birth control since your daughter was born, it may take a few months for your fertility to return, especially if you were on the Depo shot.
If you still want to have your husband checked, you can always have his sperm count checked. They will put his ejaculate under the microscope, see how many swimmers he has, and let you know if his sperm are all healthy.

Well, as I said, you could always get a sperm count done. Good luck and happy baby making.

it's a fact that both of you are able to conceive. have you tried the ovulation kit at the pharmacy. it tells you when you are ovulating so your changes will be higher.

Also, don't have sex constantly. Try to wait a few days, then have sex when you are ovulating. Guys can run low on sperm if they have sex too much. Letting them replenish in the days leading up to you ovulating should also increase your chances.

Go to a urologist or a male fertility specialist (like at a fertility clinic. If you have insurance, most if not all insurers have a section where you can find doctors by specialty. Try that.

If you don't have insurance or want to find a doctor on your own, try searching online for the specialty or in the yellow pages.
