I was wondering what you all think. My hubby gained quite a bit of weight and now he dont want sex that often, and sometimes when we do he cant finish it just dies. I still love him and want him badly. I have started trying the anal thing on him and he likes it and that helps but was wondering what you ladies thought about this.

Weight gain can seriously effect libido. I'd suggest that you address the problem directly with him and perhaps seek some weight loss treatment.

Additionally, you can try sexual positions that do not require much effort on his part. Or does he still go limp?

Weight gain can cause type II diabetes and/or high blood pressure. This can lead to vascular problems. One such problem is PE. Medications like viagra are helpful as they increase blood flow to the vessels in the groin and penis. Any time a man develop PE he should consult with a cardiologist. This can be an early sign of cardiovascular problems. If the vessels of the penis are not working well it often means the vessels up higher, in the heart, are also impaired. A visit with a cardiologist could prevent a cardiac event. Take your hubby to a cardiologist. Discuss the sexual aspect of this. It is a huge red flag to a cardiologist that some thing more may be going on.

Losing the weight along with exercise could help the heart and has other health benefits as well including self esteem and possibily his sex drive.

Heart attack at 33...that is young. Has he or will he be going thru cardiac rehab? Viagra should not be taken for people who have weakened hearts...disaster. Also there are other ways to show affection while he is recovering that could be meaningful to you both.

He was told by the doctor that he is part of only 3% of people that survive that at that age. There is no rehab he was just down (couldnt do much [doctors orders] for a month) and now he is cleared to go back to living a "normal" life what ever that means lol. This was a gift from God that he is still here I know.

sex drive lost possibly due to overweight
Had a similar problem with my partner, always tired - no pains and the doctor said he was fine etc. Being an alternative therapist myself, I purchased a self hypnosis cd for him and he not only lost weight in a month, but our sex life is even better! Also, we take turns in listening to the cd and I have lost weight too and feel like 20 again!!! OK, wish you well with your 'friend for life' experience.

My husband is kinda having a weight issue. But his is not like yours! His health is pretty good but he is a little over weight. I lost about 40 lbs this past year and now he is having issues. Saying stuff like "yeah I'm sure your so happy to come home to your fat slob of a husband" or "Why would you want to be with me?" He is even having a problem with me going to do stuff with out him. Like going shopping with my sister, or going to see a friend of mine who lives a couple hours away. He says I'm probably trying to find someone else. He never had a problem before I lost the weight. It affects our sex life because he says stuff like that after we have had sex or while we a snuggling in bed. It really puts me out of the mood and I have a hard time getting in the mood because I don't want him to get so down on himself. I've said many times to work out, go on a diet, whatever. I would do the diet with him! Hey why not maybe I could lose a little more too! I don't know just venting I guess.

Well I hope your husband is doing well. Thats so young!
