Q: hsv antibodies

hi guys .how long would a normal body take to develope antibodies for hsv?i did a blood test after 8 weeks,and it was negative.was that the rit time i did the test?

Time for creating enough antibodies against HSV, that can be detected by the blood test, can vary from person to person. Some people need few weeks and other people need few months. It is recommended that test should be done 12-16 weeks after possible exposure to the virus.
