Q: Hpylori or gluten intolerance?
asked by: DoctorQuestion on April 1st, 2009
I am having bad stomach cramps....almost like a bad virus. Can't keep the food down, gnawling in my somach...very tired. The pain wakes me up and my stomach feels like it is on fire. I have had just wheat bread with peanut butter, still sick....I have been having trouble with food staying in my system...ex. stuffed shells, pizza and drinking beer. The beer was before I became really sick......Could this be Hpylori or gluten intolerance?

No data was given when the pain started and where exactly is the location of the pain. If the pain is located in the upper abdomen, you might be experiencing chronic inflammation of the stomach. On the other hand, mild viral or bacterial infection of the intestines can not be ruled out without further tests.
You might want to visit your doctor and have blood tests and stool culture. Depending on the results, antibiotics might be recommended.
