Q: HPV symptoms or HIV ?

History: I have had oral sex and protected intercourse with one person, she says shes clean. I went and got tested for everything but HIV and HPV and my tests came back negative (I took test 1 week after intercourse).

Basically the day after sex I noticed discoloration to the head of my penis and around my inner thigh. I also had itchy arm pits. The tip of my penis has been stinging on and off. I started running in the cold weather and I could feel my lungs burning when breathing. I got sick with a fever and cough for about 2 weeks. There have also been some abdominal pains and sharp pains on my left side. I have also noticed some red/purple lines around my inner thigh. My throat has been irritated for quite some time. I think I might have some swollen lymph nodes.

Its been 7 months since and now my scalp is itching and am having frequent hair loss. Like, I could easily pull out 3-4 strands of hair right now without much strain. Still have irritated throat, discoloration, and abdominal pains.

So I have narrowed it down to a couple of things:

1. I have HPV

2. I have a yeast infection, which I got because of my weakened immune system via HIV.

I basically just want to know your input before I go get tested for HPV/HIV

Is it possible for a yeast infection to show up within hours of infection? If so, is this caused by HIV?

Thanks

ok first of all HPV is a virus which attacks the cervix...you have a penis..so i'm betting you have no cervix..so hpv will only affect FEMALE partners you have in the future(unless you have one strand which leads to genital warts which would be visible)
secondly...you use protection..so chances of getting hiv are low..if you are that worried about it you could get a test done
also..there is no test for hpv in men..the only way hpv can be detected is via genital warts(which would be visible on your penis) or abnormal cervical cells which is detected through a pap smear..and only females get these...

those aren't signs of herpes. herpes are cold sores or bumps on lips or genital area.
your being paranoid! an itchy scalp and most of the things you mentioned doesn't relate to an STD.
You should go to the doctor if your really concerned about the problems your having.

STD awareness
April is STD awareness month, be careful. STD cases on the rise!
A friend of mine who works for the largest STD dating == Positivefish. com == told me that the new subscribers have increased 30% over 2008. Rising STD rate sparks online dating sites.

magic johnson has AIDS for over 18 years, and it seems that he is health as a horse. maybe this has a lot to do with him having money. You can live between 7-24 years with this disease.
there is no cure, but there are treatments. we probably have a forum about this that can give you better information.

systemic yeast infections can enter your bloodstream and cause all sorts of problems seemingly unrelated to sexual intercourse. However, your own immunity and lifestyle determine this, not your sexual partner's. Ask an integrative or functional medicines doctor. They will be able to diagnose you comprehensively, instead of symptomatic treatment that is no cure in the allopathic realm.
