I am very saddened to post this, as I feel hurt from being infected by HPV, from a doctor's bad medical practice. I feel dirty and betrayed. I've had no sexual contact. I had a CAT Scan in India, and the doctor put an enema into my anus to have the contrast go in me. Since then my itching began. They re-use the enemas and "apparently" sterilise them, which I found out after, when I asked.

So I got myself checked out and all other STD's are clear, and I got checked for STD's in my anus. Nothing came up. I then went to a special HPV clinic, and had an anascope put into my anus. The doctor said my anus, rectum and prostrate are fine, but I have 4 small warts. The warts are on my rectum, on the lining or something, so I cannot remove them. I have to wait until they go away.

My partner won't catch HPV from me, unless she touches my anus right?

I'm going to get tested for 20 HPV types. I pray that I have not been infected by the other HPV types, especially the ones that can cause cancer. I cannot believe a doctor did this to me.

I am going to have an anal pap smear, and an anascope checked into my anus, perhaps every 2 years to stay on the safe side.
