HPV. I will be getting another pap smear....

Last October I was told that I have low grade squamous intrarpithelial lesions (LGSIL), and I need a follow after 6 months. So, in a few weeks (beginning of April), I will be getting another pap smear.

I am not exceptionally nervous, since I get pap smears every year and sometimes LGSIL can go away on its own. I don't feel like it is something that "went out of control".

If the lesions are still there and I have to go to a gyno, how quickly should I get them removed? Obviously as soon as possible, its just in May I will be moving over seas for six months.
