Q: HPV high risk

The doctor performed a colposcopy recently but he was not able to see my the neck of my uterus because I have a retroflexed uterus. The colposcopy was very painful due to a tight and fragile cervix. Is there any medical procedure where I can be put to sleep for the biopsy because I don't think I can handle another painful examination.

The next time you need to have a biopsy or some other procedure on your cervix, you can ask for some Valium to relax you. Sometimes anxiety over the procedure can cause intense pain.
