Q: HPV contraction

My boyfriend has recently let me know that he has a rather inconvenient and embarrassing symptom of hpv. He thinks I gave him HPV, but I've had very few sexual partners and always used a condom. He's had unprotected sex with people before (and been checked after - with me). We do have unprotected sex, but, as I said, we have both been checked and turst each other.
Aaaaanyway, I was checked and no HPV came up, firstly, could HPV have been dormant for a while and then become symptomatic, and if so, for how long and secondly, could I have passed it on to him without being symptomatic and without it showing up in sexual health clinic tests?
Any answers would be gratefully received.

either one of you could have had it and shown no signs or symptoms...the ONLY way to tell if a guy has hpv is if he has the strain which causes genital warts..becuase then that would be visible..but he could have been carrying a strain which can be detected in your pap smears..so it is possible for either of you to have had it and it to have been dormant..theres really no way of knowing who passed it on to who bc you've both been sexually active before...and yes it could have layed dorman in you BEFORE you had sex w/him and you could have passed it to him...or he could have passed it to you...

I have recently tested for HPV. So you know, there is NO known method for HPV testing in men....NONE! Simply Google is if you don't believe me. Unless he sees a bump or two, he'll never know he has it. Therefore, the only way that he could know that he has HPV, is if he found out that he got it before he met you!

In fact, most women won't know they have it, unless they are tested. Look at me,...I've NEVER had a wart or anything. It could have been dormant in me. Who knows where it came from. Besides, it can be contracted through protected sex.

What you should do is get a pap to be sure its normal. HPV is treatable especially if you boost up your immune system and give your body the nutrition it needs to fight it. As young people our bodies want to fight it. You should suggest to him to seek out Papillex, it can help his body fight the HPV. It worked for me and my cervical dysplasia.

Sending out good vibes.
