Q: hpv#62 a high risk hpv ?

pap smear test confirmed infection of hpv#62, just want to know whether it is a high or low risk hpv, and whether I should repeat pap smear test every 6 months or 1 yr. ?

I think it is.. I read somewhere on the net about it. I also have hpv and today i went in for the results of my biposys..I've had this for about 5 yrs or so.. I'm going in for a leep procedure march 20...Stay on it.. make sure you do what your dr tells ya..

Your doctor should have explained all this to you. If s/he hasn't, then I'd suggest a follow up appointment to set your mind at ease.
