Hi folks
I am 51 and scheduled for a hip replacement in 2 weeks. I am very anxious about this surgery. I have tried contacting my doc's assistant but have yet to her from her. I have some questions about personal care: 1- how do I wash my hair? can I stand at the sink and bend from the waist or is that past the 90 degree mark? 2- how in the world do I get my legs shaved? (I am single)-get a female friend to do the honors? Seriously guys- females have more body maintenance issues to consider. I have been through 2 surgergies so I have some knowledge about what to expect but I also know that this surgery will be the most painful and the one requiring the longest recovery, etc. 3- is waxing allowed pre surgery as in bikini wax?4- clothing- do you get night gowns, short ones? a short robe? what do you wear when they take you down for PT in the hospital?
Thanks for any help or advise
