Q: How to shave pubic hair

I'm thirteen. Female. Have tried to shave down there -
But when I do, it hurts? Like, the razor pulls on the pubic hair and hurts!
When I shave, also, I get red bumps after. Almost like pimples?
It's nastyyyy.

Also! I've tried numerous acne solutions for my face and "backne" - yet they keep coming back and I'm afraid of them scarring my face.
Help!

ake sure you ahve a good razor, a womens type razor thats "made for women. Make sure you use a good conditioner product be it hair conditioner (my favorite) or a shaving gel. Lather ver well. If yo ushave in the direction the hair gorws in instead of trying ot pull it away from with the razor, you'll end up with less irritation. the first few times you will have this. I suggest you use a gently talc powder or baby lotion after shaving. Other lotions may contain alcohol or some biproduct htat could STING and irritate worse. As for your face, get a bottle of witch hazel, its sold in Walmart. Its an astringent. If this does not dry up acne, you may have to find a dermotologist who can prescribe a "creme" that will clear this up. Try drinking more water, and make sure if you use foundation its for oily skin. You could be allergic to something that causes the outbreaks. You know to IM me!!!! Hope this has helped you! F*GM

Do it in the shower as the hot water helps make it less painful, also shave in the direcion of the hair as not to tug on the hairs and this prevents ingrown hairs too.
Using hair conditioner is good, use plenty and use a good, clean, new razor. Afterwards, use baby oil to avoid irritation. This will help keep the red spots to a minimum but if your skin is sensitive it's hard to avoid them all together.
Hope that helps!
