Q: HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT HEALTHY IN 2 WEEKS

One of the most popular 2-week weight loss plans is a juice diet said to provide detox effects. This type of diet doesn't so much provide much of a long-term weight loss, but when you need a quick weight loss plan, it can help your body reduce excess fluids for short-term weight loss. This isn't very healthy if done often or for the long-term, but it will often get off a few pounds very quickly.

Detoxing with juice is believed to help the liver get cleansed. Some believe it will increase metabolism as well. The thought is that the removal of unwanted toxins will result in better overall body function, including metabolism. Some believe that using a juice detox as a 2-week weight loss plan is a great way to build momentum as you transition into a weight loss program that will have more long-term effects. In the mean time, you need to be sure to take some supplemental nutrients as you will be depriving your body. High quality multivitamins are a must.

2-Week Cardiovascular Weight Loss Plan

For a healthier 2-week weight loss plan, you can go heavy on cardiovascular activity. This would require working out at least one hour, five days per week. If you don't have any cardiovascular equipment, taking some cardiovascular workout classes at a local gym or fitness club can be a great way to lose weight quickly. In some cases you may find that because of muscle gain you will not lose weight. However, muscle is much more dense than fat so even if you do not lose weight on your 2-week weight loss plan doing cardiovascular workouts, you will lose a great deal of fat and go down several clothing size.

Healthy Weight Loss
I completely agree. Going a juice diet is an excellent way to lose weight for the short term. After that it's pretty much up to you to keep that weight off. Eating habits are very important.

Also, I have a buddy who lost a pretty good amount of weight over an 8-month time span. It's all about eating low glycemic. When you do that, the weight pretty much just falls off. When he started out he started with the Usana Reset kit which is a five day program. Essentially, 3 times a day for 5 days he was drinking low glycemic Usana shakes, and twice a day he was a having a snack bar in between breakfast and lunch and then in between lunch and dinner. In those five days he was getting about 1100 calories a day which is a lot of the reason he lost 7 pounds in that first week. Those first five days play a pivotal role in the long term weight loss though because what it does it reset your glycemic levels to normal.

After the Reset kit, it's all about learning how to eat low glycemic meals. If you want to know more, get some books by Dr. Ray Strand about low glycemic eating.

In the end he had lost about 50 pounds in 8 months because he had learned how to eat low glycemic. It's the same idea as the Nutrisystem commercials everyone sees one TV except it doesn't cost half as much because you don't have to buy meals from them, instead you're learning how to cook and eat low glycemic meals.

Isn't rapid weight loss unhealthy? It'd probably be best if you'll just limit or cut back on the portions of whatever you eat.
