I was with another BP friend last night - we were bad boys and had a few too many beers!
My friend is disgruntled and on the point of changing his pdoc.
The search process is tricky, but that's another subject!

And this led us on to talking about "a patient/doctor's diary" and we both agree that documenting the relavent facts etc. of our medical consultations would be a good idea.

Like..... time taken, what was discussed, test results, medication review, cost etc etc.

Anybody have any comment or come across something like this?

On a similar note, I already keep everything to do with my health on a big XL file and carry it around on a small usb device - all my docs have computers so they just plug it in if they want to view (say) my medication changes, blood pressure, test results or weight history. I always get copies of documents but it's amazing how disorganised masses of paper can get. If anyone is interested I can forward a copy.

Cheers
Ray
