Q: How to correct bend in penis?
asked by: DoctorQuestion on March 28th, 2009
Will the shape of my penis affect my sex life? and why is my penis in this shape? It has been like this for as long as I can remember (I think). I was circumcised when I was still a baby, I heard that over-tight circumcisions can cause this bend? I also wear tight underwear and I have frequent erections, will that affect the shape of my penis? I don't have Peyrion's because I don't feel any hard plaque anywhere on my penis. What type of procedures do you think will help straighten my penis out? Any info would be appreciated, I am very concerned as I don't want to disappoint my girlfriend.

Note: I can bend my penis straight manually without any pain, but if left alone it will point straight towards the ground.

According to the data you provided, you might be experiencing frenulum breve. Frenulum of prepuce of penis is an elastic band of tissue under the glans penis that connects to the foreskin. In case of frenulum breve, this elastic band is too short and bends the glans. During intercourse it might be torn and cause painful bleeding. The condition is easily treated with surgical cut of the frenulum.
