Carpal tunnel syndrome is accompanied by very clear signs and symptoms. But how do symptoms change as the syndrome progresses? More info here....
Modifications to the home and workplace are often a first resort. Therapeutic chairs, keyboards, computer mouse, wrist rests and wrist braces and splints are common options, although relief is often short-term. For long-term relief, it is recommended that ergonomic products in combination with performing active stretches and exercises can do a good deal to eliminate pain and to promote muscle balance with and around the carpal tunnel. This in turn relieves pressure on the median nerve and alleviates the disabling symptoms associated with carpal tunnel syndrome.
The best way to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome is to implement preventative measures, reduce unnecessary stress and strain to the hands and wrists and keeping physically fit and muscles balanced in order to keep carpal tunnel syndrome and the other many repetitive strain injuries at bay. By exercising the muscles in the hand, wrist, forearm and shoulder so as to promote optimal muscle balance, one can do a great deal to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome from occurring.

Thanks and nice to meet you all.

What is Carpal tunnel syndrome and what are the causes? Probably many of you already know the answer but sometimes a good review will remind you about how important it is to avoid this problem from happen to you, especially who work daily on a computer.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is pressure on the median nerve. Median nerve is the nerve in the wrist that supplies feeling and movement to the "thumb side" of the hand (the palm, thumb, index finger, middle finger, and thumb side of the ring finger).
The area in your wrist where the nerve enter the hand is called the carpal tunnel. This tunnel is normally narrow, so any swelling can pinch the nerve and cause pain, numbness, tingling, weakness or muscle damage in the hand and fingers. The symptoms usually start gradually, with frequent burning, tingling, or itching numbness in the palm of the hand and the fingers, especially the thumb and the index and middle fingers. This is called carpal tunnel syndrome.

You are right Get375healthy.

And the treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome that is non-surgical should be as early as possible under a doctor's direction. There are Pain management and therapies facilities offering treatment for Carpal Tunnel such as Dynamic Medical & Rehab. They offer full service nonsurgical medical treatment procedures for people suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome and employ specialized wrist traction for the pain associated with CTS. Their non-surgical treatment program helps to reduce the numbness and/or pain as well as restore hand strength and function.
