Q: timing of STD testing

I am going to get tested for std's because my boyfriend and I just broke up because he cheated on me. He told me that he is clean and told me that he got a blood test and it was negative. He was with two other girls before me. My question is, how soon can I get tested? How long does it take for most std's to cause a test to be positive? I don't want to get any false negatives. The first time we had sex was the middle of January. Can I get tested now? Would my results be accurate?

If you think there is an issue,be proactive
If there is any concern about you contracting an STD, get tested. It is better to catch these things in thier early stages, rather than being complacent. STD growths can do damage to your body. Think about it like this it is a disease. So, why would you want to go untreated?
