I'm a 15 year old male, 6'1", 304 lbs. I'm looking for a way to diet that will allow me to lose weight but get stronger for footbal and shotput without using a low carb diet. I've tried low carb diets before but it's extremely difficult with school because there are few low carb options to choose from. If there's a way to pack a low carb lunch I would love to here it but I would prefer to be on a normal diet. Also, I plan on losing 100 pounds long term but I want to lose at least 50 before football in 3 months. I've successfuly lost 20 pounds in a week several years ago using a low calerie diet (probably water weight but that's still alot) so I think I can reach that goal. I want to know if after the water weight my weight loss would slow down to 1-2 pounds a week or since I'm this heavy would I lose it really quickly at like 4-5 pounds a week? Last but not least, when I lost the 20 lbs I was only eating 1000 to 2000 calories a day (I was also only 210 lbs when I started at the time) and would like to know if this will have any real affect on my vertical growth. I dream of reaching 6'5" and hopefully more and want to know if a diet like this would affect that. Thanks!

Hey there, like you said that you need diet to lose weight but keep strength at same time for your purpose. If you are even remotely serious about losing weight you need to drink about 2 - 3 litres of pure water a day. As you build muscle make sure to increase nutritional intake. Nuts in small portions, fish, and small portions of red meat are included in most diets that work and also provide protein for muscle building. We can therefore talk only about different types of muscular exercises: high intensity and short duration exercise such are weight training, sprint, short distance swimming, gymnastics, and similar. It is not just an ordinary plan found on the internet but a very comprehensive and a guaranteed one helping you losing your fat and building the muscles in no time. And the beautiful part is, those carbs will be stored by your body as glycogen to fill you out, but not make you fat. Focus on Overall Body Workouts - When many over 50 people start exercising, they immediately view their stomachs or hips hoping for a change. Only eat carbohydrates around training, all other meals should be protein. What is the best way to lose weight? That is the question thousands of people ask themselves everyday. The trick is to combine these in healthy proportions. Many people assume that the real secret to getting ripped and losing body fat lies in the gym but the reality is that you diet is the most important part of getting in shape no matter what your goal. And at the end you said that you'll play football right?... Smile
