The availabilty of health insurance dictates how often I go (compounded with my diabetes). Once a year.
I wouldn't go if I didn't have the health insurance.

I'm lucky to live in a place where dental care is pretty cheap...but I've found that the cost of a routine clean isn't too bad . Around $100-150. It's the repairs that are expensive!

Extremely eHealthy
The last time I went was when I was 17 (still on my mothers insurance) I am now 19, so it has definitely been over a year.
Who knows the last time my husband has been to one. He has three 'teeth' that are hardly there anymore they are so rotten. If they were to pull them, I'm not sure what they would grab onto

I picked once a year because the last time I went I hadn't been in 3 years and I had never had troubles with my teeth before. But guess what? After 6 pregnancies and nursing all of them, I had 12 cavities. An IV sedation, 12 cavities filled, a cleaning, and decalcification is VERY expensive if you don't have insurance. Thank goodness we have it now that I won't be so reluctant to go back.

I haven't been in a couple years. I keep saying I will but I end up forgetting. I will call tomorrow...
