how long will i be in the hospital when i get my gall bladder removed, laprscopic or old fashioned?

Gallbladder Disease Answer A21054
Hello and thank you for posting your medical question on E health forum.

For your information, a open cholecystectomy (GB removal) needs at least 7 days in the hospital for proper recuperation. But the same procedure done laparoscopically may reduce this duration to 3-4 days.
