Is it possible to become pregnant after coming off of birth control pills and if after you quit the birth control pills you don\'t have sex, or for how long after you have sex you have to wait before quitting the birth control pills in able to not become pregnant if am taking ortho tri-cyclen lo.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you stop with the birth control pill use, sometimes your fertility can early (depending on type and duration of birth control use) after you stop with birth control use. If you have intercourse without additional protection, you can get pregnant anytime if your fertility has returned back to normal (especially during your fertile days). If you intend to remain sexually active after stopping with the hormonal birth control use (and yet not ready for pregnancy), then discuss about other methods with your gynecologist and get started on the suitable one.
