well it took my sister in law about a year when she got off the shot and only a month with her second baby when she wasnt on it so i would say yes it takes a while longer hope this helps

I have read many stories from others in the same situation and for some it took 1-3 years and some are still waiting after 5 years. I'm very sorry. I took depo 3 times last year and have yet to get pregnant. I hope you are one of the lucky ones who can sooner than later
