I have been UTI free for more than a year now and would like to share my story to all of you.

I had frequent bladder infections and in the last years; antibiotics would "cure" them but not prevented them.
I could not stand keeping taking antibiotics because first of all they should be a LAST resort and because of all the harmful side effects.
So I decided to look at alternate ways of healing them. My quest was long and sometimes I thought I would end up being operated like my specialist mentione
I took cranberry pills every day for 2 years, sometimes it seemed it helps and I think it prevented me from having a lot f UTI but I still ended having bladder infection and REALLY painful ones. I also tried D Namose which did not work for me during two months and I ended up having a kidney infection and was forced to take weeks of antibiotics...

Finally after a lot of research and talking to a specialist at a natural pharmarcy, I did the following:

1/ * Changed my soap (was Dove) to a ALL natural soap called Dr bronner's magic soap - hemp pure - made with organic oils and UNSCENTED. All cosmetic soaps and even genecology soaps have harmful chemicals that should never be used as I believe they destroy the good bacteria that act as a barrier the bad bacteria E coli that cause UTI. I am not a doctor but I am convinced that all those chemicals we used on a daily basis without even knowing about it should be banned. I giving the brand as a reference but there are lots of naturals sopas now, find the one that suit you but make sure that you read the labels.

2/ * I take every morning acidophilus A PROBIOTIC COMPLEX (I take 3 capsules of a 5 billion active cells3) that I keep in my fridge - can be found in any shoppers /London drugs

3/ * I wash myself before AND after having sex (please note that alone never prevented me from having UTI)

4/ * I drink a lot of water - at least 2 litres a day (but that should be for any human beings that want to be healthy!!)

THAT'S IT!
So do me a favour, once you have treated your UTI with antibiotics, just start doing the things I mentioned above at the same time as taking the antibiotics (be careful to have a gap of at least 4 hours between taking the antibiotics and acidophilus as diary counteract the effect of SOME antibiotics).
Keep doing that as long as it takes. I have been doing it for a year and I will do so until I feel that my body is strong enough again to flight e coli without any supplement.

I hope this will help many of you.

Best of luck for all of you!
