Q: How HIV virus affects a human ?

HIV stands for Human Immuno-deficiency Virus. This virus, if affected the human, wont directly cause the effect, rather it will start affecting the immune system of the human body. So the person becomes susceptible to other diseases, if the immune system starts degrading, and finally leading to death.

That is true. Very well spoken.

Now they have medication that stops the virus from multiplying, reduces the number of the virus in the body and boosts the immune system.

The long term effects of these medications is not well known as the virus has been studied for only about 2 decades.
