How commen are oral warts. I just had a genital wart removedlast month. I'm reply scared of oral warts . I went to the dentits he said I worrie to much. Bit I have some bumbs on my tounge and I noticed a small white numb on the back of my throat. I haven't had oral sex or vaginal in 9 months. I can't eat sleep over the stress. I don't want to share a drink or kiss my children good night please help ASAP

Like all warts, oral warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus which invades broken skin. But they are not very common and can be spread very easily through kissing or oral to genital contact.

Mostly they are harmless and can go away on their own. Specific treatment includes surgical removal, freezing with liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy), chemical injections, or laser surgery.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
