Q: How can I stop the compulsive eating?

I eat and eat and eat. Today I had 5 pieces of toast for dinner and then had a blizzard after that. I eat til I'm just disgusted with myself. I tell myself I won't do it again tomorrow, and yet I do it again tomorrow.

You just need to get in control of yourself. Practice cutting back on desserts or the treats you love. After a while you will be so used to it, and you will have more self control. I used to eat alot more, but not I feel fine with small portions. If you can commit to it for 21 days, it will become a natural habit for you.

No disrespect to the previous poster but it's not as simple as 'getting control' of oneself; if it was then no-one would suffer from an addiction.

i eat when i m really stressed out. i used to eat at 2am in the morning. i now use hoodia with green tea, it is a herb it suppresses your appetite and keeps me from eating so much, it makes you feel that your not hungry.
i had to do something because i m already over weight.
you have to make sure you have healthy things in your house. you should be eating whole grain bread.
you can still eat delicious foods, but you have to put a lot of thought into what goes into your mouth. someone people have a plan of what theyre going to eat for the week.
be consistent, and stick to a plan. you can eat out but you have to pick the healthiest thing on the menu
