I have a problem.. I just had sex for the first time last night, he pulled out and im not on the pill... And he didnt use a condom...I hear you can still get pregnant... I don't have regular periods.... And I have felt sick all day.... How and when will I know if I'm pregnant...? Please help!

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

If your partner did not ejaculate inside the vagina, you cannot become pregnant. You need to estimate your next period date, and take a pregnancy test around that time. If you are feeling unwell a day after sex, it cannot be due to pregnancy. Please consult your PCP regarding this—it can just be stress, stomach bug, anxiety or acidity. Hope this helps. Take care!
