Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

In the first week since periods you cannot be pregnant. Hot flashes during this time can be due to a skin problem, hormonal problem, PCOS or due to thyroid problems. Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist once. Hope this helps. Take care!
