For about a month now i've had severe pain in my throat, primarily whenever i have to do anything requiring movement of my tongue, ie talking, swallowing, breathing, spitting. The pain is located near the top of my throat. I've been looked at by 3 doctors, who all ruled out strep and mono. There are no visible signs of swelling, infection or irritation when the doctors look with a scope. My glads are not swollen either. What could this be?
