Hodgkins disease is a form of lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes). For most patients, the treatment of this type of cancer is chemotherapy. When diagnosed at an early stage, long-term survival is possible in about 90% of cases (as with most other cancers, the survival rates are lower for more advanced stages of disease).
