Q: Hives a sign of pregnancy?

I have been getting hives for almost 2 weeks now. They were randomly breaking out and then it moved to mainly my hands, occasionally my feet.

I went to the doctor a week ago and got some antibiotics and strong antihistamines to take. It has helped but I'm still breaking out on my hands.

I have always had allergies but nothing like this has happened before. I'm just trying to rule out that it could be something completely different like being pregnant. I'm due to get my period in a few days, so I'm sure I'll know soon, but if anyone can help ease my mind before that...that would be great lol.

Thanks for the help

I always have been having strange hives and think I may be pregnant, and after doing a little research online, I saw that pregnant woman can get hives/rash, that sometimes starts on the stomach( which mine did, a small patch) and spreads to thighs, arms and breast(mine just on my arms and it comes and goes, small red itchy bumps)

I am still unsure if I am pregnant or not, I just wanted to let you know I was experiencing something like you and I could possibly be pregnant..

I'm sure that didnt help too much! Sorry!

sounds more like an allergic reaction to something your in contact with, and don't realize your allergic. Sometimes i break out in hives, and I'm deathly allergic to nuts, but I don't always realize why i broke out, because i don't remember coming in contact with anything with nuts in it. Jut keep an eye out, and back track what you've done the last couple weeks.
