Q: HIV Tests

Hi.

I am freaking out. I had unprotected sex over a year ago and didn't use a condom.

My first question is. If I didn't ejaculate in her, am I less suceptible to the virus.

Next question is: I want to take a fast test, like know the result that day.

The free test at school is one where you have to wait a week.

Last night I couldn't sleep because of this fear. I want to find out ASAP.

Are their fast tests? What are they called and how do they work?

Thank you.

Ejaculating into her doesn't affect your risk of the virus. Having unprotected sex definitely does, though.

The tests take a while because they are sent to the pathology labs for immunoassay. I would suggest taking the test from school because doing it privately with your GP would require extensive scheduling.
