I had unprotected sex with a girl of unknown status back in early febuary... It is a long story so I will keep it to the point... The girl claims to have no stds but I do not trust her... She showed me some documentation and I was not sure about it... It did state that she was not infected but these days you just never know... SO at week 10 due to SEVERE SEVERE anxiety I was tested via clearview stat pak hiv1/2 and the result was negative... Huge relief until I read about the window period and all that.. So I waited out two and a half more weeks and tested again at 12.5 weeks and got another negative... Realizing the severity of my issue i have been to the doctors office five different times regarding bumps itches headaches etc... I have been frantic and losing my mind so I tested again at 14 weeks it was also negative... You can see tha pattern I have going here I just wish to put my mind at ease once and or all what does anyone here recomend?? I was looked at by a HIV doc whom said I was fine, but I have done so much reading on HIV and the window period that I dont believe my results... please advise a worried soul...

I suggest that you wait three months from the point of infection and take a blood test. Then wait another three months and take another blood test. That last result will tell you if you have HIV or not.

Most people are caught in the first test but there is a 2% who take six months which is why it is important to take two blood tests taken three months apart.

That is the only sure way I know for you to clear your mind. If you like, you can do the clearview stak pak as you wait for three months but it is not necessary.
