I am very sorry to hear about your ordeal. Rape leaves one so shuttered and scattered. Happened to me at least four times in Kenya. And I fought off three attempted rape monsters.

You have a voice because you are already talking about it. It is one way to heal. I told a friend when I was 17 years old about the rapes that had occured and never spoke about it again until I was 30 years old as I gathered that even Oprah was raped. She gave me my voice and no I don't watch Oprah anymore.

If you want to confirm your results, you can do a western blot test. Also, get yourself checked for other STDs. So sorry.

What you went through 7 months ago is traumatic to say the least and will take your body a while to get back to normal. Or at least to feel as though you are back to normal.

This sounds like you have no HIV in your blood.

Thank you for your response. I was tested for all other STDs which came back negative except for an HPV wart. I was told that western blots are not given for negative results. Should i insist? Is that more accurate then Elisa? Sorry about your rapes. What do my symptoms sound like to you and should i insist on further testing?
