Ten years back my friend had a test of HIV. The report came as "serum reactive to HIV 1" he went for some ayurvedic treatment (Indian treatment with plants and herbs) after its 100 days course he again went for the test and to his surprise the test result has shown to HIV (may be the report was not perfect). After 2 years of that report he got married and has now 2 children. His entire family now has tested they do not have infected with HIV. Now he has been affected with fever for nearly 30 days and he again went for the HIV test for his satisfaction. The test report has come "serum reactive to HIV 1". Is it possible that he is survived for ten years with good health and how come his family does not get infected. Now advice me what to do.

If the tests come back HIV negative then it may well be something else. HIV can take many years to make you sick and some people never get ill but pass it to others. If his test comes back negative then i would assume he is negative for HIV.If it comes back positive then he has it.I am sorry but I am not sure what you are asking advise for.
