I used a condom but might have torn her tissue and got some blood on my testicles. Am I at risk? I'm worried blood might have creeped into the condom. Should be be this worried? What are the chances?

its really difficult to say yes or no... but personally i doubt it. please check yourself in a few weeks. you can go to a hospital and do a mouth swab test and get results in 20 minutes. make sure you always use a condom but remember you can even catch HIV through kissing... you are taking big risks with your health by pursuing sexual relationships like this one. you might want to reconsider what truly matters... i am not trying to offend you or tell you what to do, i just want you to understand that this is just very very risky. good luck

Hi MissJessi. Are you one of the doctors? If you are not it isn't a problem, I just need to speak to some one. I have always protected myself but never had the blood issue. Can it get into my penis even with a condom on? I already made an appt. for a screening next month. If you are not one of the doctors do you know how I can get a hold on one?

oh, weill thank you for your reply. And by the way I had never done a one night stand before last night and believe me I never will again. I know condoms are supposed to keep semen from exiting, but do they keep fluids from entering? Could any blood have traveled into my penis? That's my concern.

i don't believe so, unless the condom was ripped... you can never really be too sure.

You have zero risk for HIV. You cannot get HIV from kissing either.

thanks cfz, what really scared me was that i had an ingrown hair and the thought of blood running past that sore and the tip of my penis while i was washing is frightening to say the least. the help line i called also said there is nearly 0% chance of contracting in that way. I hope they and you are both right.

Your risk is very low, almost non-existent. Not sure why MissJessi says, "you are taking big risks with your health by pursuing sexual relationships like this one.", considering she has no point of reference as to what kind of relationship it is. You did the right thing by wearing a condom and the fact that she might not have even had hiv lowers your risk even more. Get tested to ease your mind and keep wearing those condoms to stay safe.

One last ting. To answer your question about if the blood could creep into the condom. HIV can only survive for a couple seconds outside of the human body so the chances of it getting on your testicles then climbing to the tip of your penis are non-existent.
