HIV risk I came into contact with a lot of blood

Whilst administering first aid at work I came into contact with a lot of blpod from a drunk male. I don't know if he had any disease and I did put gloves on as soon as I could. I don't remember gettIng blood on my hands but I before putting gloves on I was putting dressings on top of the blood. I have as all non bleeding cut on my finger and am worried about infection. Is it possible I could have caught anything even though I didnt appear to have any blood on my hands?
