In the past month I have had unprotected sex with two women, one of which I have been casually seeing for over a year and the other a long time family friend. I would consider both of these women to be extremely low risk partners. However starting last week i developed flu like symptoms consisting of sore muscles, my eyes hurt when shifting from left to right and i felt completely exhausted for a day or two. I would think nothing of these symptoms normally but on day two or three I developed a rash consisting of about 10-15 spots about half the size of a penny on the side of my abdomen and about 10 similar spots on each of my arms. This blotchy type rash lasted for about 6 days. I have searched the internet for similar looking rashes and have only found primary hiv rashes to be similar. My main question is are there other causes that could present these types of symptoms and this rash or is the rash produced from primary hiv more unique?
